Artist, photographer
In this exhibition, I explore the dualities of existence: vulnerability and strength, beauty and pain. My creative process begins with photography, where I capture individual components—models, flowers, branches, and textures of paint. These photographs are meticulously cut out, edited, and thoughtfully arranged to create a cohesive and captivating narrative.
This exhibition is divided into two distinct collections.
The first collection features portraits imbued with an impressionistic style. These pieces capture the essence of the human experience by distilling emotions into vibrant colors and dynamic brushstrokes. Within these works, you will find faces that hint at untold stories. The soft blending of colors creates an ambiance of tenderness, inviting viewers to reflect on their vulnerabilities and the strength they derive from them. Each portrait serves as a mirror reflecting our shared journey through struggle and resilience, reminding us that even in our most fragile moments, there exists profound beauty.
The second collection shifts towards photographic realism, showcasing women with cracked and hollow heads that give blossom to a breathtaking bouquet of flowers. Here, I delve deeper into the juxtaposition of damage and beauty. Each flower represents hope, strength, and the different experiences we cultivate through pain and trauma. As these figures stand strong and confident, they remind us of the resilience of the human spirit and that it is through our wounds that we often find the most fertile ground for new beginnings and flourishing beauty.
